Vectors are lines.  Electronic files of objects (text, art, logos...) can either be a vector file (lines and fills) or a bitmap file (series of dots, like a .jpeg or .gif).

Our laser engraving machine requires a vector-based file.  Common vector formats are:

.ai (Adobe Illustrator)

.cdr (Corel Draw)

.eps (Encapsulated Post Script)

For the prices we have quoted, we require that you provide us with one of the formats above in a monochrome (single color) application. -- Lasers do not burn in colors!

If you do not have a "Laser Ready" file, we can convert your logo or file for you.  We do this by doing a manual re-draw of your file in a Vector's Based Program, and then supply the completed file back to you as well.  You will find it useful to have this for other applications.

We charge a $75 minimum (sometimes more if your artwork is complicated - we will tell you this before we start your project) to convert your art for you.
